Changing a phone number's active call flow allows you to manage how incoming calls are handled. This feature is essential for directing calls based on your current availability. Using the call flow selector, you can quickly select from various call flows. For example, if your team are on holiday you could turn on a call flow to send all incoming calls straight to voicemail with a special holiday message.


Steps to change your phone number's call flow

A user can follow these instructions to change the call flow on any number they are assigned to. To manage the call flow of a phone number you aren't assigned to you must have the Manage call flows permission. 

  1. Go to settings
    • Navigate to the settings section located in the bottom left corner of your screen.
  2. Access phone numbers
    • In the settings tab, select phone numbers.
  3. Select the phone number
    • Choose the specific phone number for which you want to change the call flow.
  4. Go to calls
    • Click on the calls option to manage call flow settings.
  5. Select active call flow
    • Use the dropdown button for the active call flow.

      This will provide you with several options, such as:
      • Divert your phone number
      • Send calls to voicemail
      • Default ring assignee
      • Utilize shared call flows created by your team
