Using SMS-Enabled Numbers

Why Would You Use SMS in VXT?

SMS in VXT enhances communication by providing an additional channel for client and team interactions. It allows for quick, efficient messaging and maintains comprehensive records. You can send SMS messages directly through VXT, saving them to relevant records in your CRM for a centralized and organized view of client communications.

 

Steps to add and enable SMS for a new phone number

  1. Access admin settings
    • Open VXT and find the Admin tab in the lower left-hand corner of the screen.
  2. Navigate to phone umbers
    • In the Admin tab, go to Phone numbers.
  3. Add a new phone number
    • In the upper right-hand corner of the Phone Numbers screen, click on Add phone.
  4. Click on the New phone number.
    • Select new phone number
  5. Enable SMS
    • Tick the SMS box to enable SMS functionality for this number.
  6. Name and assign the phone number
    • Input a name for the phone number to easily identify it.
    • Assign the new number to a team member by selecting their name from the available options.
