That phone number already exists in VXT (legacy service)

If you uninstalled the voicemail app, or purchased a new phone and you are trying to log in it is easy to accidentally create a new account.

If you are trying to access your VXT Voicemail account and you see the message "That phone number already exists in VXT" you have probably accidentally created a new account and are trying to add your voicemail to a new account, instead of logging into your existing one. 

Most users who find themselves here have an account that uses their phone number to log in, and accidentally create a new account using their email address. 

To get back to your old account, log out, go back to the sign in screen and click the phone icon (on mobile) or Phone (on our website).
