Diverting your calls when you're away

Whether you're in a meeting, on vacation, or simply need to focus on a project, setting up a call divert ensures that important calls are still handled promptly. This helps maintain a high level of customer service and ensures that no critical calls are missed.

How to divert calls

Follow these steps to divert your calls indefinitely:

  1. Go to settings

    • Navigate to the settings located in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen.
  2. Access phone numbers

    • In the settings tab, select phone numbers.
  3. Select your phone number

    • Choose the specific phone number you want to divert calls from.
  4. Go to calls

    • Click on the calls option.
  5. Select active call flow

    • Click on the active call flow drop-down menu.
  6. Choose divert to phone number

    • At the top of the menu, select divert to phone number.
  7. Select destination

    • Choose which of your team members or which specific number you want your calls to be diverted to.

And that’s it! Your calls are now being diverted to another phone number or team member.

 

Divert calls temporarily with a timer

If you need to divert your calls for a specific amount of time, follow these steps:

  1. Go to settings

    • Start by navigating to the settings located in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen.
  2. Access phone numbers

    • In the settings tab, select phone numbers.
  3. Select your phone number

    • Choose the phone number you want to divert calls from.
  4. Go to calls

    • Click on the calls option.
  5. Select active call flow

    • Click on the active call flow drop-down menu.
  6. Choose divert to phone number

    • At the top of the menu, select divert to phone number.
  7. Select destination

    • Choose the specific number or team member for your call divert.
  8. Set a timer

    • After selecting the phone number, click on the hourglass button beside the active call flow switcher drop-down.
    • Here, you can specify how long you want your calls to be diverted to that specific number.

By following these steps, you can easily manage your calls, ensuring that they are directed to the right person even when you are unavailable. This enhances your communication and helps maintain productivity.
