      Another VXT user owns this phone number

      Are you trying to log in to VXT Voicemail but the app says another user owns this number?

      If you're reinstalling VXT on the same device or a new one, you might encounter an error message that says: 

      "Sorry, it looks like another Vxt user owns this phone number. They can share their phone with you using our phone sharing feature in Vxt Web."

      All this means is that you have logged in to a different account than the one your voicemail is set up on. To fix this:

      1. Log out of the account you are currently using

        1. Go back to the main Vxt screen, by exiting the flow for add a phone number

        2. Tap "Settings"

        3. Tap "Your account"

        4. Tap "Log out"

      2. Tap "Sign in"

      3. Tap the button with the phone icon on it.

      4. Follow the rest of the instructions on your screen to finish using your phone number to sign in
