When I sign in it says "Sign in Failed"
This article addresses and issue for when you try to sign into the desktop application using your Google/Microsoft/Apple credentials and you get an error saying "Sign in Failed".
Why is this happening?
This issue happens when the browser you are using for sign in does not have permission to pass data back to local applications.
How can I fix this?
The good news is you can enable this permission on a site level basis for VXT.
This permission is called "Local Network Permission".
Refer to the steps below for the internet browser that you use.

Open the Edge internet browser.
-
Browse to https://app.vxt.co.nz

Click the lock icon to the left of the URL and click "Permissions for this site".
-
A page will open with settings. Scroll to the very bottom of that page.
-
Confirm that the option "Sites can ask to connect to any device on your local network" is set to "Allow".
Once you've done that please try signing in again and let us know if this resolves the issue for you.
