What is on-hold music?
On-hold music is the audio played for callers while they are waiting on the line. It helps improve caller experience by reducing perceived wait times and maintaining engagement.
Steps to upload On-Hold Music

Find admin settings
Open VXT and locate the admin section at the bottom left-hand corner of your screen.

Navigate to configuration
Under the admin section, click on configuration.

Access call settings
In the configuration section, select calls. Here, you’ll see the option for hold music.

Edit hold music
Click on the pencil icon next to hold music.

Upload music
In the top right-hand corner, click new.
Choose upload to add your music.
Click click to choose an audio file and browse for the file you want to upload. -
Save changes
Once the file is selected, name your clip and save your changes and your on-hold music is ready!

Select the clip
After uploading, select the clip and then click done.
And that’s it! You’ve now successfully uploaded on-hold music for your VXT account.
