This article explains how the Smokeball integration works in VXT, including how to connect and disconnect it, as well as where notes, calls, and SMS messages are saved.

How to connect the Smokeball integration to VXT
- Go to Settings.
- Find the ‘Integrations’ tab.
- Search Smokeball.
- Select your region.
- Sign in with your Smokeball username and password.
You'll be automatically redirected to the VXT app, and a 'Connected' label will appear on the Smokeball tab to indicate that the connection was successfully established. VXT will then download your contacts from Smokeball and sync them.
How to save your call notes
To ensure the notes dialog displays, go to the Settings > Calling > Open notes dialog when call ends and set to either ‘For answered calls’ or ‘Always.’
After a call
- Locate the Smokeball section.
- Type the matter you intend to save your notes in.
- Select the matter.
- Click ‘Save as’
- Select ‘File & completed task’ to compile call notes and other details in a document.
- Select 'Memo & completed task' to save call notes in your Smokeball memos section.
- Add notes or check your existing notes.
- Hit save.
When left unsaved after a call
- Go to the ‘Phone Page.’
- Click the number or contact to show your communication thread.
- Hover over the intended call.
- Click Notes & Integration.
- Follow the instructions above.
How to find saved call notes and SMS
- Go to the Phone page.
- Select your conversation thread with another contact.
- Click the link, ‘Smokeball contact,’ under the contact’s name at the top of your screen.
- Select the ‘Matters’ tab after being redirected to the Smokeball webpage.
- Find the matter where you saved your calls.
- Switch to the ‘Documents’ tab.
There you have it! Your SMS and calls should now appear on your screen, where you can view your call transcriptions, notes, and summaries.
Initiate call in Smokeball, EvolveGo, and TriConvey
You can click on phone numbers in Smokeball, EvolveGo, and TriConvey to start a call in VXT.

How to disconnect Smokeball
- Go to Settings.
- Find Integrations.
- Locate the Smokeball tab (Edit settings)
- Click the ‘Other’ tab and tap ‘Disconnect.’
- Hit disconnect once again when a prompt window appears.
