Set VXT as your default calling app in iOS

Turn on VXT calling from your iPhone settings

When you tap a phone number on your iPhone (for example, in a text message, email, or on a website), iOS uses your default calling app to place the call.

VXT isn't set as your default calling app automatically. To use VXT when tapping phone numbers, you'll need to set it as your default calling app.

Here's how:

  1. Open settings on your iPhone.

  2. Go to apps.

  6. Test that it's working by tapping a phone number on a:

Your iPhone should now open the call using VXT instead of the regular Phone app. If you ever want to change it back, you can return to the same settings and select a different calling app.
