Importance of the billing page

Understanding how to navigate the billing page is crucial for maintaining financial awareness, ensuring timely payments, optimizing costs through informed decisions about usage add-ons, and effectively managing your account. By regularly reviewing your subscription and invoice details, you can avoid unexpected charges and service interruptions, while keeping your payment methods and contact information up to date.

Find the billing page

  1. Locate the billing page
    • Start by navigating to the bottom left corner of your screen and click admin. This will take you to the admin settings.
  2. Access the billing section
    • Once in the admin page, look for billing. This section provides a comprehensive view of all billing-related information.

Overview page

  1. Review your subscription
    • Inside the Billing page, you'll find an overview section. Here, you can see details about your subscription, including the number of users and phone numbers associated with your account.
  2. Check usage add-ons
    • Below the subscription details, you'll find information on your usage add-ons, which include SMS, call transcriptions, international outbound calls, and inbound toll-free calls. These add-ons are not included in your subscription and incur additional charges.
    • You can click on any of these add-ons to view available usage bundles. Subscribing to a usage bundle allows you to benefit from a lower per-usage rate by committing to a minimum amount each month.
  3. Upcoming invoices
    • On the right-hand side, you can view upcoming invoices for both your subscription and usage. This helps you keep track of what’s due soon.
  4. Billing information
    • Below the upcoming invoices, your billing information will be displayed, including your payment method and billing email. You can change either of these by clicking the edit button.

Invoice page

  1. Navigate to invoices
    • Click on the invoices tab to easily view a summary of your invoices. This section allows you to track your financial obligations without hassle and identify which invoices are nearing their due dates, helping you avoid any late fees.
  2. View invoice details
    • If you click on any invoice, you can take a closer look at its details. This page will also provide an option to pay the invoice directly.

Usage page

  1. Explore the usage page

    The usage page offers a detailed overview of how your account's usage is distributed among different activities. For instance, if you receive an invoice from VXT for an unusually high number of transcription minutes, you can investigate the Usage page to see where those charges originated.

  2. Filter usage Information

    In the Usage tab, you can filter by different categories, such as call transcriptions, international calls, and SMS, making it easier to understand your usage patterns.

By following these steps, you can effectively manage your billing and invoices in VXT, ensuring you stay informed about your financial commitments and usage. This will help you maintain better control over your account and avoid unexpected charges.
