Introduction to billing
This article will show you how to manage billing in the VXT app.
Keeping an eye on your billing shouldn’t be complicated. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps on how to navigate to the Billing section, understand your subscription and add-ons, check upcoming invoices, and review usage charges. A quick review every now and then can help you avoid surprises and keep everything running smoothly.

Navigate to Billing
You'll find everything billing-related on the billing page. This includes your plan, usage add-on rates, invoices, credits, and usage.
- Click Admin in the bottom-left corner

- Select Billing.

Start a subscription
- On the billing page (Admin -> Billing), click get started in the call section of the page.

- Choose a plan - annual or monthly.

- Enter your details (card details, billing email and billing address)

- Once everything's filled in, click start subscription at the bottom.

There are multiple sections on the Billing page.
Overview
- Review your subscription
- Inside the billing page, you'll find an overview section. Here, you can see details about your subscription, including the number of users and phone numbers you are paying for.

- Check usage add-ons
- Below the subscription details, you'll find information on your usage add-ons, which include SMS, international outbound calls, and inbound toll-free calls. These add-ons are not included in your VXT Phone subscription and incur additional charges.

- You can click on any of these add-ons to view available usage bundles. Subscribing to a usage bundle allows you to benefit from a lower per-usage rate by committing to a minimum amount of usage each month.

- Below the subscription details, you'll find information on your usage add-ons, which include SMS, international outbound calls, and inbound toll-free calls. These add-ons are not included in your VXT Phone subscription and incur additional charges.
- Upcoming invoices
- On the right-hand side, you can view upcoming invoices for both your subscription and usage. This helps you keep track of what’s due soon.

- Below the upcoming invoices, your billing information will be displayed, including your payment method and billing email. You can change either of these by clicking the edit button.

Invoices
- Navigate to invoices
- Click on the invoices section at the top of the billing page to view all of your invoices from VXT.

- View invoice details
- If you click on any invoice, you can take a closer look at its details. This page will also provide an option to pay the invoice directly.

Credits

If you delete a user or phone number partway through your billing period, you’ll get a credit for the unused time. For example, if you remove it halfway through the month, you’ll receive a credit for half the cost.
You can keep track of any credits you’ve earned in the credits section of your account. Credits are automatically applied to your next invoice, but they can’t be used on invoices that have already been issued.
