Delete a user

This article will show you how to delete a user from your account. 

 

💡 Deleting a user is a permanent action, it cannot be undone. Make sure you are deleting the correct account.

Billing

When you delete a user credit is applied to your account for the remaining time in your billing period. For example, if you remove a user exactly halfway through your billing cycle, you will receive a credit for half of the cost of that user. That credit is then applied to any future invoice from VXT i.e. credits you earn today are applied to invoices created tomorrow, but cannot be applied to an invoice that was created yesterday. 

You can see the credit on your account, and how it has changed over time, by going to Admin -> Billing -> Credits.

Data

When you delete a user you will retain access to phone calls, text messages and other external communication history they were associated with via the Records page.

Other data such as the settings on their account are deleted forever and are unrecoverable. 

 

How to delete a user

  1. Go to Admin

    Open VXT and click the Admin tab in the bottom-left corner of your screen.

  2. Open the user page

    In the Admin section, click on User to view your user list.

  3. Find the user

    Scroll through or search to find the user you want to remove.

  4. Delete the account

    Click the Delete Account button. A prompt will appear.

  5. Confirm the deletion

    Type the user’s email to confirm the deletion, then hit Delete.

And that’s it—they’re removed from your VXT account.
