You spoke and we listened. Many of our users have been telling us that they regularly use software to record notes and would like to be able to do so in Vxt. In fact, a few users were literally calling themselves to take notes as a voicemail.
We figured Vxt could make that process easier. With Vxt Notes, you can record short spoken notes which are immediately transcribed to text and easily shareable. Vxt Notes are free with no limits for all users.
Vxt Notes are also converted to text much more accurately than your voicemail messages because the audio is high quality. Check out this video where Chelsea takes us through a quick demo.
How To Use Vxt Notes
To use Vxt Notes open the Vxt app on your phone, using the desktop app, or on the web app. Then select the notes button on the bottom of the screen (if on your phone) or side of the screen (if on a computer).
To then record a note, select the microphone icon and begin speaking.
With Vxt notes you can easily record details from meetings or random thoughts while you're working. Once you're finished recording, press stop and your note will be saved. You can also name the note before you save it.
To edit the note or give it another title, simply press edit at the top right of the screen.
You can also share the note with others using the share button at the top of the screen next to 'Edit'. This can be shared via air-drop, email, messaging, SMS or any other method your phone provides.
To delete a note, simply slide it across and select the red bin.
