To join a private channel a user must be invited, or have the **Manage channels** permission. 🔒 Messages in private channels are only visible to the users in that channel.  ### Channel management Users with the **Manage channels** permission, including admins, can create, and archive channels; or add and remove users from a channel. #### **Create** To create a channel: 1.
